Royal Caribbean "Freedom of the Seas" Cruise

I went on a RCCL Seminar at Sea by myself on the Freedom of the Seas May 15th - 22nd
this year. I drove from Palm City Florida about one and three quarter hours up to Coco Beach. I parked my car at the Best Western Oceanside Suites courtesy of hotel manager. Caught the Port Canaveral Shuttle and was on my way. Boarded in less than 30 minutes around 1030AM The Ports of Call were Grand Cayman, Labradee, Haiti, Fallmouth, Jamaica (New Port) and Cozumel. Grand Cayman I took a quick city tour on the open air shuttle. Jamaica I took a quick city tour and beach day tour not far from the ship. Cozumel I went to the new Museum and Art History of the Mexican Ruins discovered and preserved all over Mexico. Here are my picture. A quick review
was the ship was Clean and the Inside Room large. Getting on and off was a breeze even with over 4,000 cruisers. The trick is to get to the exit when the ship first is cleared or read your daily bulletin. The shows were very good. Kind of European Influence to the Broadway shows There were two of them. The rest of the shows were Headliners or Comedians. The food was Good to Real Good. Not excellent though like
Celebrity. No amenities in my room as I was not a Suite or Concierge guest. Nice deck chairs and lots of things to do. The New Parade down the City Walk on Promenade
deck was all the characters of Madagascar. Cute but noisy. They had this two times during the week. Once late and once in the middle of a sea day. Optional Restaurants along the Promenade were Pizza, Bakery, and Deli type stops. They were free. Other Restaurants charged and I didn't go. No fun stuff in the Dinning room except for our Waiter who showed us some amazing tricks. Any Question just let me know. The Ship had just undergone a Refurbishment and looked great. Robin
